Continuing east across Nevada, riding along I-80 to Fernley and then catching US50 southeast to Fallon. Just outside the city is the US Naval Air Station at Van Voorhis Field. Wait, what? A NAVAL air station in the middle of the dessert? We had a nice climb out of Clark and on to Silver Springs.
